What Is The Hope Space...?
The Hope Space- A Sharing Network, is a Facebook Group that George's Gym created at the start of the pandemic last year and later partnered with Dawn-Marie of Dawn-Marie Rocks. Our group is an all-inclusive network meant for people to find and share resources they need, share positive news, an avenue to find ways to give back, a source for much needed laughs and so much more! Most importantly, we are a space where EVERYONE can find HOPE and inspiration in these tough times.
What Is The Hope Space Giving Project...?
We are also a group that likes to stays focused on solutions and we very much wanted to find ways to do more with this space that had grown so much in just a few months. So late last summer we decided to organize our community to tackle specific issues through fundraising.
We started with our Daycare Supply Drive , which brings cleaning supplies, PPE and many other much-needed items to locations in some of the most underserved and hardest hit neighborhoods on the South Side of Chicago.
We have also recently added our Initiative Against Hunger which is focused on getting one of the most basic resources to people who are suffering the most.
